About the event
Celebrate the winter solstice by making and firing your own pottery. As our clay goes through a process of rebirth, so do we!
For this class we will be hand-building pottery with earthernware clay, painting with slips and oxides then fire our pots in an Anasazi style trench kiln. You will leave with 2-3 functional pots to take and the knowledge to continue practicing at home.
The handbuilding and painting will happen on the 18th June and the firing will take place on the 25th June.
Limited to 12 students.
This class is weather permitting, in the event of incliment weather, the class will be cancelled and bookings refunded.
